Celebrating with a dance.
Not only has America laid on Independence Day activities to help celebrate Keira's birthday but New Orleans has put on the Essence Festival as well.
So today we started late with a trip downtown with a hell of a lot of locals on the Canal Street tram and attended the first session of Essence, we followed that with a mini-tour of the French Quarter, Bourbon Street etc etc. What a town, we just ambled around and the hours disappeared but it was a good recce and tonight has been a planning meeting for the rest of the week.
